Arnold Creek’s 2026 Annual Neighborhood Walk started on SW 11th Drive near the intersection with SW Arnold St (park on SW 11th Dr). Folks who preferred less uphill walking joined in before the Dead End, as we walked up SW 11th Drive to the trailhead into the park.
Don Baack from SW Trails met us at the Marshall Park playground and talked a bit about the Hillsdale to Lake Oswego (HI-LO) Regional Pedestrian Trail. We had our refreshments and social mixer there, at 7:00 pm.
The walk was about 2 miles roundtrip. We walked on the “detour” shown as a solid green line on the map. The proposed new trail is shown as a dashed purple line. More detail can be viewed on this map.
All were invited to join us for the walk and/or the socializing.
